Our Rough Cut
We also need to improve on our time management and organisation, as we left it too late to film one of the scenes (where the main character and a friend walk out of school) which would have made the story line even clearer than it already is.
This time around we plan to add some new shots from different angles as well as filming the scene we missed out. This will improve the overall quality of the content in our film, as well as increasing the variety of shots we have.
Feedback
Things that went well:
> A good variety of different shots.
> Good use of camera movements (zoom, pan).
> Story line is clear and appropriate for target audience.
> Framing was considered 'excellent'.
Improvements to be made:
> Increase tension through pacing (editing & music).
> Increase number of villains/give subway figures more relevance (females-interesting subversion).
> Improve ending with cliffhanger - being trapped, rhetorical question brings in title.
> Smaller details - hide vodka bottles, neaten uniform while walking, time lapse on clock.

Jess goes for a handheld shot from slightly above for one of our opening scenes.

We brainstorm ideas for how we can make the shot brighter as the light bulb gives off a yellow-ish glow.

I hold up the phone, which has a text from Skye's number as Jess zooms in for dramatic effect.

I have compiled a small gallery of behind-the-scenes photos from our filming showing our discussions and what we got up to!
