Production Company

Idea 1: WorldWide Studios
Our first idea for a production company was 'WorldWide Studios'. We liked the simplistic style and colour scheme of the logo, however we did think it was slightly boring. We also thought this about the name as it seemed to lack creativity. We later realised that the globe theme had already been used by 'Universal Studios' and we want to be original, so we decided against this idea.

Idea 2: HoneyBee Productions
Our next idea was 'HoneyBee Productions'. Once again we were happy with the simplistic design and the colours of the logo, and the name seemed to work well, however it was too childish for a film about drug culture and crime. Because our target audience was 14-20 year olds, this name/logo would not be suitable as it would be more fitting to younger children, so once again we decided to come up with another idea.

Idea 3: Lock'n'Key Studios
Our third idea was 'Lock'nKey Studios'. This logo was slightly more detailed than the previous two, and the colours are more dull. We did this to see if the end product seemed more appropriate to our target audience, which it did. However once again it seemed quite boring, so we decided against this.
Idea 4: Skylight Productions

The idea of Skylight productions was by far our favourite, and we loved the name, so we decided to come up with a logo for it. We went with the theme of stars as this is simple yet aesthetically pleasing, but we decided that with our first draft there was too much going on and we wanted it to be more simple.

We came up with a few more ideas before we thought of an idea that we were very fond of and decided to tweak the colours and slight details until we found the logo that we were more than happy with...
...And so here we present our production company and logo... Skylight Productions!
